Worst ever home service company, they will not take care once the installation is done, sold an old unit that broke in a year. I need to complain to IL governance body for not providing proper service for basic needs. They charge 5x for the broken part. Manager never responds back despite calling about the issue. Why would ever go with a company that lacks service, they should shutdown their company. I am reporting to business body.I didn't expect this kind of service, have been calling the last few months trying to get a manager talk to me, no one is responding. If i had known this never would have thought about this company I am telling my neighborhood with 500+ residents about this. I am filing BBB compaint and will go to IL government as well if this is not fixed.

I called for a quote on a new AC system and was given the next day for a design consultant to come out. Jeff Aleman came to my home and was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and very pleasant. He took his time explaining everything to me and going over what I wanted and my options. Is this the type of service you get for a $15,000 A/C and heating system purchase nowadays?• Packaging material left inside the furnace and discovered at the first maintenance service call approximately 6 months down the road.• We purchased replacement filters from Perfect Home and they provided us with the wrong size.• The humidifier we purchased with our furnace and A/C system was never turned on during the installation process and was discovered when the pressure switch was replaced approximately a year and a half later.• Our furnace was not working properly within the first year and a half, so a full battery of tests was run to determine that the pressure switch was bad. Perfect Home never told us that it was a faulty part and was a recall item. If so, why include a proven faulty part on a newly installed system. Perfect Home scheduled an appointment to install the new pressure switch once it arrived after being ordered. Perfect Home cancelled the appointment to install the pressure switch a few days before a winter storm hit that was going to produce extremely low temperatures. The furnace stopped working during those low temperatures on the weekend following the cancelled service call, and when we called for emergency service on Saturday, we were told that they were booked up for Sunday. We were in our home for 36 hours without heat and a temperature of 12 degrees outside. When the technician came the next day to install the pressure switch we were told that they don’t work on Sundays.

I have read the reviews of past customers who have suffered and I have experienced the same. I should've checked their reviews but I got routed to this business via some online sponsored ad. Please stay away from this company. They provide outrageous quotes that will guarantee of causing you a mini aneurism. For a part that is $40 (with tax), this guy gave me a quote of $400 to replace (not new installation that requires skilled labor). Their VIP program would give me a discount of $100 but will be forced to pay $15 per month. But I have to go with them and replace (again REPLACE not new installation) the entire sump pump that he quoted me for more than four grand. He wasted my time and forced me to pay $49 for coming down. This is a professional scam and please save your time (and money) and find someone else.

First experience for HVAC was great, multiple visits to solve the issue but trial and error was expected when identifying the source of the problem. Couldn’t be happier.Second experience was for plumbing and unacceptable. Had a leak develop in my ceiling, made an appointment to have it looked at sometime after 11AM. They confirmed same day and then at 5PM called and said they couldn’t make it with no availability until Monday, while I’ll be out of town. Waiting around all day only to have them cancel last minute without next day rescheduling and leaving me no hope of finding someone to come out today before the weekend. Not the kind of dependability you want in a plumbing service.

BUYER BEWAREWe inquired with Perfect Home Solutions due to the smell of natural gas near our furnace. A technician came out very shortly after our call and immediately told us a list of "problems" that our furnace "had". He would not talk to us about repairing our furnace, the only option was to completely replace it. He asked if we were feeling alright that we could have carbon monoxide poisoning and told us that it was a fire hazard, which completely scared us. Shortly after their finance person arrived where he spent over an hour walking around our entire house measuring all the windows and room size of each room. The first technician gave us no warning that he would be going through every room in the house. AFTER OVER AN HOUR of walking through our house he started talking about pricing and quoted us an outrageous price. When we started to ask questions he got very defensive and essentially told us that we need to make a decision. He told us that we didn't need to inquire anywhere else or talk with our parents that if we needed to talk to someone that he could call his Mom....RUDE. He basically tried bullying us into a new furnace for the next 20 minutes. BUYER BEWARE, this was one of the worst experiences that I have had. I felt he was trying to take advantage and that they were trying to scare my husband and I into this. FYI, our furnace was regulated/repaired the following day and we were informed a new furnace was not needed at this time.DON'T LET THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY BULLY YOU! & DON'T LET THE REVIEWS FOOL YOU.

Ended up getting my furnace and AC removed and replaced by Perfect. I'll say this, you need to negotiate with them, do not accept the first offer they throw at you. The first quote they gave me was $2,500 more than where we ended up. So there is a TON of wiggle room in their pricing. All of the techs that came to my house were great, they were friendly and knowledgeable. Things have not exactly gone perfectly though. After the job was done, I found 10 sharp sheet metal screws all over my driveway. I had to scan my driveway with a flood light to ensure I wouldn't end up with a punctured tire. Paying $11,500 for the job to be done, I would expect them to do a better job cleaning up after themselves. I could very easily have wound up with punctured tires. The new thermostat was supposed to come with 2 sensors but they were not included. Communication was great before I paid for the service. Now that I need an invoice and I'm trying to get the sensors, I'm not getting a response to my emails or texts.

As a former technician Perfect home services is an amazing company with a lot of opportunities to grow, with great benefits. The managers more so just see you as a number. If you don’t bring in revenue/ good conversion rate they will say you are no longer useful to us. The provide great options for customers. But when it came to new systems managers pushed sales even though they want to call it “enhancing customers lives.” They say it’s a family, but you’re only treated like family if you work in the office, otherwise you’re a number. One of the managers even said “nobody really cares about you, you’re just a number in the eyes to the company and to the world.” So how is it that PHS is so big about enhancing lives but it’s the cost of your one? It’s a sales pitch that is manipulative to make you think they want the best for you. But in reality they are upwelling you. Some managers will fight for you. Others just see you as a technician and don’t care about your life outside of work. They make your schedule and don’t allow you to change when you have personal things going on. They tried classes and trainings for us technicians but one manager said “they are scared to start training again because last time it messed up the times for people’s calls.” So again, they are too scared to try to enhancing technicians knowledge and help the new ones excel. Instead just another big company that expects you to overwork yourself.

This company severely overcharges for replacement parts. We had a guy come over and check our furnace. There is nothing wrong with the heat exchange and there was not a gas leak. They wanted to charge me over $3,000 to replace this when I could buy a new furnace for the same price. Please be mindful and check other options before going with this company. You want to try to save yourself as much money as possible. I feel that they are severely overpriced. Do your research people

We had a good experience with them for our sump pump and we were inclined to use their business for our HVAC. They had us waive our rights under the premise that this was the only way to get them to install our equipment in a timely fashion. The purpose of this waiver is actually for emergency service, however they are using it as a sales tactic to get you the service faster while making it extremely costly if you want to cancel. They seem like a more expensive option than other similar companies so this comes across as a tactic used to back customers into a corner. It is certainly not in the spirit of the law. I have to say, after this experience I cannot recommend them. If you do use them, please make sure not to sign your rights away unless it's a true emergency. They seem to be very liberal with that term and it is not in the customer's best interest to do so.

The process was super easy. I was able to make a same-day appointment via phone with customer service. They sent someone over the same afternoon. David helped us replace our broken garbage disposal, and fixed a leaking pipe in our basement. He was on time, answered all our questions, and was super courteous. Great price! $20.23 for their 2023 furace check special. Lee the Tech was very knowledgeable about many things & very thorough in his check including taking pics of my thermostat & furnace. He tried to locate my doorbell wire which was above my furnace which was helpful after I asked him.However,It was a long visit, about 1.5 hours for the check. Would be helpful if they explained how long it would take. Also, they quoted $300 to clean the blower motor which seemed high.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They will tell you that you are about to die and you must turn off your heat and that you have a crack. Oh and by the way, you can get it repaired for about 3000, oh but wait the part isn't available for 3 months but keep your heat off anyway so you better get a new furnace. You have been warned. They showed us a fake picture of a crack too with a bad date on it. Absolutely scam artists.

Jashawn Weaver came to our house for a furnace inspection, as we had accepted an offer from PHS to do so. While I did not ultimately have them perform Jashawn's recomendations, due to my years long relationship with another HVAC company, it was no fault of Jashawn. He was courteous, friendly, professional, knowledgable, outgoing and funny. He was particularily professional. He performed a comprehensive inspection, documenting on camera, everything he observed. He educated me about my system, and without a "hard sell", gave me a range of options and services that he could provide. He thoroughly explained the benefits of the services he could provide on site, as well as annual maintenance programs PHS could provide. I don't write a lot of reviews, and as stated, did not ultimately use the service offered...however, I feel compelled to review my experience with this amazing young man. Due to my experience with him, I will consider one of the other services that PHS offers. Even after I took a pass on todays service, Jashawn fully explained a different service I may be interested in, that came up through our conversation, and again, it was presented in a way that made me feel I was being educated, not just another hard sell. I used this company for both their HVAC (heating) as well as plumbing services and cannot be more happy with their work and the two technicians that came to my house. After dealing with the many "clowns" my Home Warranty company has sent over to my house over the last 2 years, this company (that I found myself) was a breath of fresh air, and great to know that good, honest, hard working companies are still out there.In fact, I originally called them to help with a whole house humidistat issue I was having this past December. Specifically, I replaced the humidistat, filter-pad as well as it's plastic housing, and the solenoid. Unfortunately, the system still wasn't working properly. I even had my warranty company send a technician out to inspect the electrical/wiring to make sure that wasn't the issue...but to no avail. I then reach out to Perfect Home Services, and they sent out their technician, Jesus - technician. After checking out the system he discovered the wiring repair work completed by the company sent by the warranty company....basically.....caused a bad electrical issue with the humidifier system. Jesus explained what the previous company did wrong and what should have been originally done in a easy to understand manner. He then proceeded fixed the electrical issue (after my approval of the costs of the work), for a fair price, right away, as well as made sure everything with the heating and humidifier systems were functioning properly before leaving.I was so happy with this company I purchased their "VIP" program, and suggest you too ask about that program when you call (but it might not be right for everyone like it was for me).I then asked for a plumbing inspection which was part of their VIP program. During the inspection, their plumber, David, showed me that I had some water (not a lot) coming out of a crack in my basement's wall. After walking around the property, he discovered that the water had been coming from a broken/cracked, exterior garden hose faucet (facing east). Good news though, this water hadn't been running down the basement wall for very long and didn't cause any damage to the foundation (that he could see at that point). During that month's cold-snap, the exterior faucet and pipe had cracked and caused water to flow back into the basement and down an already existing, but small crack in the basement's wall. David, explained the situation in such an easily understood manner, that I felt that I may be able to do the repair work myself. That said, since I was a VIP member, got a decent discount for the service, and their was a lot that had to be done besides replacing the exterior faucet....I had David make the repairs. While this service was considerably more expensive than the earlier humidifier work, it was still at a fair price (after the discount), and I was again very happy with the work. David also went over his other plumbing inspection findings, told me what work should be attended to in the next few months and what work could be left alone for a few more years...as well as what was working just fine. Jesus also pointed out a few items that my home inspector missed (FYI - bought the property about 2 years ago).It has been a month since the humidistat and plumbing work had been completed, and everything is still functioning well. I definitely suggest giving this company a call/chance for your HVAC, heating, and plumbing business. Especially for those who fancy themselves as "handymen", this company acts a lot like a "partner", and offers very good insights as well as suggestions...so if you want to do the work yourself, it is nice to have a pro's recommendations on how to fix it yourself in the most cost effective way.

Be alert, be cautious, don’t get pushed into a hasty expensive decision when you hear your perfect home services technician say “cracked heat exchanger!” PHS was brought in June to check out the A/C. Instead, the technician started by checking the furnaces, painted a picture of imminent danger due to carbon monoxide poisoning. We had just had the furnace checked out a few months ago. The Heat Exchanger / Imminent danger is part of this company's MO. Now don’t get me wrong, Carbon monoxide should be taken seriously, and we have CO detectors, including one very close to the furnace. But honest people would never ever use a false threat of danger to sell furnaces. Check them out on Yelp for a full run down. Save yourself unnecessary expense. Footnote to the story. Start to use furnaces in Sept. - turns out the technician had disconnected one of the furnace's inducer motors - without telling us - preventing the furnace from starting up. I'm sure this was done in the name of “safety” Oh - and the tech wrote up over $6000 worth of repairs on the furnaces and A/C's.Stay away. January update, furnaces running fine.

He didn't try to sell me anything, just made sure the equipment was in great working order.There was some challenge with the coordination of timing. That's the reason for 4 stars not 5. This wasn't the tech's fault. He's a pro. The dispatch team was very friendly and helpful after I called to ask about status. It would have been better if I hadn't had to call.

Great Job by the technician in finding the issues. They want WAYYYYYYYYY too much to install/repair a furnace. Their prices need to come down, by a lot.

Called Perfect for a second opinion and I am glad I did! They noted so many things different than the first company I called. They took the time to inspect everything, not just the part having a problem, in order to find the root cause. Which was lucky for me that instead of replacing one part now and having other parts fail down the road since we weren't addressing the actual problem. Very kind technicians, attentive, answered every question. I trust them to have my best interests in mind, not just make a buck.

Kevin was very professional and provided in-depth information about maintenance for our system. He explained every detail and answered all our questions. Had a new system installed by this company in early 2022. By fall of 2022 a part had gone bad(was not a good impression) however it was an actual known recall from Bryant and the company wasted no time at all to come and repair it on no time. Recently had my annual checkup and the tech was professional and polite at all times. No hidden agenda which it seems like these people always have when they come for a "free" inspection.

Dino was patient and thorough. We wil be using your services again. He had to shut off our furnace because it was leaking, but had a team out within an hour. The installation of a new furnace began at10 am the next day. (Saturday). One cold night was all we had to deal with thanks to their rapid response. Thanks Dino!!
