We had our new unit installed in 2022 with our furnace. First year it worked great. 2022 spring into summer the ac was blowing warm air. Called a tech out and he found a leak in the evaporator coil. Changed the evaporator coil and ""fixed"" leak. 2023 summer, same issue changed the lines. 2024 same issue and fixed the leak. 2025 blowing warm air, tech said another possible leak by the compressor. I'm fed up now... I want a new unit, and I want a fix. I have a family to watch and this is horrible.

Recently on 6/14/25 I had a technician come out for the $49 summer tune up as the AC hasn’t been blowing cold air. I believed it was the refrigerant as everything else had been working properly. The tech told me the unit had multiple mechanical failures and the price would be $3,000+ to fix and that I’d be better off setting up a consultation to buy a whole new unit. The tech refused to check the refrigerant until I agreed to pay $3,000+ for the new parts and charged me for the visit even though no work was actually done.On 6/18/25 I had another technician come out. He informed me the refrigerant had run out and in total would cost $250. I asked him to check the mechanical parts the previous technician said were broken and he said they were perfectly fine and there were 0 issues except for the refrigerant. I am extremely disappointed that this company would try to scam me and have filed a complaint with the BBB. DO NOT USE THEM.

I’ve been on their yearly maintenance plan and recently had a technician come out for routine service. During the visit, I was told that certain parts were in dangerous condition and urgently needed replacement. Pressured and short on time, I agreed to the $1,400 service.Later, I discovered that the parts cost less than $50 and the entire job took only about 30 minutes. Even more concerning, after speaking with another technician, I learned that those parts did not actually need to be replaced.I’ve reached out multiple times for clarification and have yet to receive a proper response. This experience felt misleading and unfair. I hope the company reconsiders how they approach service recommendations and improves transparency with their customers.

AC was acting up and not draining properly. Miguel Rubio from PHS came out and went above and beyond in diagnosing the problem, he was here for a long time testing and going through possible issues. He figured out where the issue was and corrected it. I could not be happier with his work.

The salesperson was great and after getting 3 other quotes, I felt this was a fair price. It wasn’t the cheapest but I had the best feeling about this group. The technicians came in and were quick and nice. Unfortunately, our install of an AC and furnace ended with us having a gas leak. When I connected perfect homes at 9pm they said they could have someone out in the morning, but in the meantime, I should contact Nicor (our gas company). Nicor was and there guy was great but did find the leak but my family was out of the house instead of getting to bed. Perfect homes did have the problem fixed in the am, but there was no mention of there mistake or the inconvenience that my family was put through. You’d think when you’re spending 5 figures on a job that something else could be done when that type of error occurs. I was most frustrated that my wife smelled the gas before the technicians left but was told that it was “normal.” I should mention that I did get an excellent response from the Salesmen when I texted about smelling gas. He walked me through things better then the perfect homes office.

We’ve been customers since 2018.we are part of the VIP program. We thought it was weird that every time I would be home alone and the inspector would come they would recommend to do several “fixes” but the times that my husband is was here for the inspection everything is running good.This past Tuesday we had an inspection. The guy that came smelled like a pack of cigarettes. He was here maybe 20 minutes to check the AC for the summer tuneup. When he was ready to leave he provided me the feedback. Our 3 year unit he said is on its last leg and to get a new furnace it’ll cost 15k.It seemed weird to me everything seems to be running fine but I’m not an expert. So I let the tech know I would talk to my husband to what he replied is ok you can talk to him but if the unit stops working it’ll be an extra 2k to come out and change it. He said “if it’s during the summer you guys could be okay with a couple fans but it’ll get bad if it’s during winter time so you’re looking at a 17k emergency job”This seemed very weird to both my husband and I so we got different opinions have a couple companies come out (we had to pay for it) and both of them said the unit is good, running how it’s supposed to and there is no need to do brand new unit.As a woman it is frustrating to have technicians come out and try to take advantage of the situations it is sad that when I’m here by myself they would always find something to fix but the times my husband is home they say everything is ok. We trusted this company we trusted that their techs wouldn’t try to take advantage of the fact that they are not talking to a men. I would definitely not recommend this company anymore.Update 06/16Now I have to put dates because they are playing games with us.So 06/10 perfect home services came to check the unit. That day we were told all of the above.06/13 my husband called them and they just told him here’s the email to file a complaint never offer to send a new tech or anything just gave him an email address to cancel.From 06/10 to 06/13 we had 2 different opinions on the unit that was on its last leg per perfect home services tech.Over the weekend we got a couple txt asking about our last service we complained on txt06/16 I get a phone call. this company is just washing’s their hands. They are not going to accept that their tech was wrong and they are refusing to compensate us with the money we had to spend for the other two opinions because we didn’t call to get another person to come out. When we called the 13th the lady that answered the phone didn’t even mention that we could’ve got a second opinion from another tech and just gave us an email to cancel just seems like this is their way to wash their hands.The lady that called 06/16 just said they are a family owned company and they would never take advantage of their customers. And they can’t do anything because we didn’t get a second tech to come out. She didn’t call before because they were too busy? So if their tech tells us the unit is dying and offered a crazy expensive quote and then leaves are we supposed to just take it? Or look for another opinion since obviously what the tech said and how our unit was working didn’t match

My original review from awhile ago was excellent. This time was not as good. I did have good communication with one customer service person, the other ones were either unaware of the hours of operation or just plain rude. I called on a Saturday about noon, the hot water heater was not working. I also smelled gas. I was told they will be out that day. I received a text confirming an appointment. I was told the water heater is under warranty, so I would not have to pay5pm I called again, I was told that the plumber will be out after his current customer, that he had to back to the warehouse to pick up something. I got another text. I waited until 11:30pm, called again, this time the answering service told me my message will be sent at 7am to the office. Sunday I called, only to find out no plumber works for them on Sunday and their sister company plumbers are all booked up. The customer service person was the same woman I spoke to on Saturday afternoon; she was very apologetic and sent a message to someone farther up the chain. I was offered a small gift card to assist with future work. Nicor came out to check if there was a gas leak; there was, Nicor was great, very helpful.Monday. A plumber came out about 9am. Looked at the paperwork Nicor left and looked at water heater. He told me I need a gas flow valve. The part is covered, the labor is not. Labor will be 621.00. He was able to lower it for senior citizen. I was very unhappy with the customer care. I think the plumber tried to help, but one of the customer service people on Monday I spoke with told me, if I want to speak with someone about my issue and ask for a lower charge that she will put in a ticket and someone will get back to me in 24 to 72 hours. I did have the work done.6/16/25Another UpdateI had received a call from customer service, left VM. I called back a few days later .Spoke with the person who will check on warranty. I heard nothing then.Today I called to check. I was told that he tried to call me last Friday, but my VM was full, ( which it was not), and he sent an email. He said he hasn't heard from his manager about a refund, or the warranty. He said he will call and call me back, which he did. I was offered gift cards. Very unhappy with their value of the customer.

Don’t buy the service calls . This is biggest rip off , they charged me 15 times the cost of $25.00 dollar part to 300.00 , I bought the service calls for 150 for the tuneup check and was supposed to come back the next time to check furnace , no show . Bad people.they are bad company ,the lied about the cost was $25 for capisitor, they hung up on me when I called about being overcharged .

I contacted PHS regarding an odd sound plus a very warm PVC pipe associated with my (lest than 2 year old) Ionic ejector pump (still under warranty). Of course I was JUST about to leave town and the house gremlins showed up....again! A big thanks for the very prompt same day repair by Josh LaCour who did the dirty work and also to Francisco Castro who diagnosed the problem quickly. The cost was a bit more than expected but no comparison bids/research was done. As stated by Josh, this current pump is a newer and improved version....I guess we'll see. BTW, this is my 4th ejector pump in 20.5 years.

6/10/2025Alan Ahlgard has been my go to guy for all HVAC upgrades and maintenance for the last couple of years. He has never disappointed. He has come up with excellent suggestions on improvements to my HVAC system. Very pleased with the functioning of my system, winter and summer. Also, what I like about Alan is that he doesn’t try to oversell unnecessary accessories. Highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Perfect Home Services is a great company to work with, precisely because it has people like Alan on its staff.2/25/2025I was pleased with the furnace tune-up and cleanup done by Enrique. The work was done in a very professional manner. Enrique went over the details of his measurements with me and sent me a detailed view of the furnace operation. Very courteous and friendly. We purchased a brand new HVAC system less than three years ago to the tune of $15,000 with PHS. Since that time, I have effectively been forced to purchase their $20 per month "VIP Service" due to the amount of service visits I and/or my tenants have needed. At this point, PHS comes out several times *per quarter* on what is a *brand new* system. Multiple times they will have a tech come out, the tech will say "it's fixed," and then my tenants will tell me the next day it's not working and they have to send more techs out...While the service staff is perfectly friendly and I trust that they really are "trying to make my day Perfect," I'm truly at a loss as to how and why we continue to have issues. Every time I call to schedule yet another service, I express how frustrating it is to have this many issues with a $15,000, brand new system. They're empathetic and say that they understand, but I have yet to speak with a technician or manager who can explain to me why we continue to have consistent issues with our system.Very frustrating and not ultimately helpful. I can't recommend PHS in good faith at this point, and I would be wary of using them in the future.

On Monday a technician from Perfect Home Services (Keo V.) came to do the yearly checkup on my AC unit. He was very upbeat and happy and that was a pleasure to see. He told me what he planned on doing both in the basement and with the AC unit outside. Keo provided photos and what he saw in the units and offered some services that the company offers. My unit is new so it did not need anything but a check. I like that Perfect Home Services offers this maintenance program, I have someone to call in case of a problem.

In the almost 30 years that we have lived here, I would say he did the most thorough clean check inspection out of anyone. I would recommend him and use him again. These people are terrible scammers. Their prices are always SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than anyone else. They will also con you into joining their VIP program, which they claim is free, and then begin to charge you for it. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Do not do business with them. They are awful.

Frank was knowledgeable and provided excellent feedback with regard to my issue.I did not go forward with the plumbing service. PHS should be ashamed at their pricing. I was able to obtain the same service from a local plumber at a fraction of the cost.

Why are they trying g to sell me a furnace when I need my A/C serviced. Then I am told it is too cool to check the freon in my system. What a waste.They did reach out and apologize and a tech came back to check the freon for no charge.

We were pleased with the guys' installation. The condensation line was neat and tucked away, the ac unit is pulled away from the house so it can be easily cleaned all around and on a level pad. They used drop cloths to protect my flooring. They were respectful and timely in their process. I will be using this company again for future inquiries.
